Barbara Jane Foster

On June 24, 1935 the sun rose with the birth of Barbara Jane Casteel Foster in Albright, WV and on September 6, 2019 the sun set with her passing in Morgantown, WV. She was the last surviving child of the late Eaf Casteel and Iva Thomas Casteel. Barbara was a graduate of Morgantown High School and retired from Mylan Pharmaceuticals. She enjoyed gambling, playing cards, bingo and taking trips to Atlantic City. She also enjoyed helping with Animal Friends Rescue, going to yard sales , cooking, and watching old western movies. Surviving her are her children, Stephen Foster, of Morgantown and Sharon Woodall Wayne, of Morgantown, six grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. in addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Foster Jr., a son, John P. Foster III and eleven siblings. The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for the generous and loving care they provided. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 5-8 pm.m at Dering-Henson-Henson Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Mt.Calvary Cemetery, Goshen Rd. Morgantown, WV. Caring services are provided by Dering-Henson Funeral Home.
