Dorothy Dalton Williams

Dorothy 'Dottie' Eileen Dalton Williams, 94, of the Triune-Halleck Community, left this earth on September 28, 2017. She was born in Morgantown, WV on June 15, 1923 a daughter of the late Russell 'Bub' Dalton and Bertha 'Mammy' Walker Dalton. She was married on July 3, 1943 in Gladesville, WV to Benjamin Ralph Williams, who preceded her in death on September 17, 1999. Dorothy is survived by her children, Richard 'Dick' Williams wife, Linda of Buckhannon, WV, Marion Williams Westfall husband, Bernie, Ben Williams wife, Brenda, and Roger Williams, all of the Triune Halleck Community, WV, a daughter in law Sandra Dalton, of Morgantown, WV, grandchildren Rich Williams wife, Kristi, Randy Williams wife, Megan, Nicole DeProspero husband, Herman, Greg Westfall wife, Jennifer, Ben Williams wife, Kimberly, Tanya Williams, and Sandra Hassenpflug husband, Walter, all of Morgantown, WV, David Williams wife, Ashley, of Peyton, CO, Pam Arlotti husband, Dolph, of Gibsonia, PA, Mia Burr husband TJ, of Arvada, CO, and Chad Pettrey, of Belington, WV. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, a sister, Meda Trimble of Grafton, WV and her loyal companion, Riley. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons William 'Billy Joe' Dalton and Robert 'Bob' Williams a daughter, Kathleen 'Jane' Williams, three sisters Lillian Foy, Betty Baker, and Pauline Trimble, and a brother, James Dalton. Visitation will be Friday, September 29, 2017 at Dering-Henson Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Brad Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Summers Cemetery, Triune-Halleck Community.
