Fredrick Louis Hiser

Fredrick L. Hiser, of Rancho Mirage, CA and formerly of Morgantown passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020 at ManorCare nursing facility in Palm Desert, CA. He was born August 16, 1936 in Morgantown, a son of the late Louis Hiser and Helen Coughlin Hiser. He was a graduate of St. Francis de Sales Catholic High School. Fred retired after thirty years with Verizon Telephone Company . He was a loving and caring father. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lana Jo Cumpston Hiser, a daughter , Cindy Hiser, Surviving are two sons; Daniel Hiser of Palm Desert, CA and Chris Hiser, of Palm Springs, CA, a daughter, Tami Hiser, of Arkansas, one brother, one sister, one granddaughter and one great granddaughter. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Dering-Henson Funeral Home. Services will begin at 1:00 in the funeral home chapel.Burial will follow in the Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens. Caring services are provided by Dering-Henson Funeral Home.
