Herbert Butler

In 1930, Aura and Oliver welcomed Herbert into the Butler family. Herbert departed this life on September, 11th 2016. He served in the US Army during the 1950's and worked as a social worker upon his release. For many years, he worked as a desk clerk at Hotel Morgan. He also worked for a short period of time at the World Trade Center. Herb had a religious connection at the Catholic church for many years. Everyone who knew him, knew he loved his dogs. Herb was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Aura Butler, and by his siblings Glen Murial, John " Jack" Doris, Rosie Charles Waterford, and Allen Naomi. He leaves to cherish his memory nieces and nephews, Glenn Sharon, Eugene Ruthie, Charles Rose Mary, Donald Elociree, Ora, Charlotte, Georgette, Louis Monica, and Allen. Herbert will be truly missed by his relatives and friends including Betty Weber who cared for him recent years. Friends may call Dering-Henson Funeral Home, Wednesday, September, 21st 2016 from 12:00 pm until the 1:00 pm service hour in the funeral home chapel.
