Jacqueline Denson Cranford, 91, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 at Mon Health Medical Center. She was born May 13, 1927 in Morgantown, to the late Arthur Cranford and Estelle Denson Cranford. Jackie attended Monongalia High School. She was an active member of Jones United Methodist Church, the local Elks Lodge, and Silver Leaf Club. Her love of bowling took her to various locations over the years to participate in tournaments. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Marcus A. Cranford Sr., her children; Marcus Barbara Cranford Jr., Karen Clarence Lemelle, Deborah Hubert Ward, and Renee' Mack, grandchildren; Michael Link, Eric Toya Ward, David Nicole Cranford, Aaron Cranford, and Pierre' Mack, her great grandchildren; Trevor and Alissa Link, Roya, Alexander, and Nicholas Cranford; Amaya, Aaron Jr, Anna, and Addison Cranford and a brother Arthur Denson of New York. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers; Lawson, Richard, Donald, and Ronald Denson. Jackie leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews along with many family friends. Family and friends will be received at Dering-Henson Funeral Home from 11am until the 1pm service hour, Friday, November 30, 2018. Interment will be at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
