James C. Sickles

James C. Sickles, 86, of Morgantown, WV died Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the South Fayette Nursing Center in Markleysburg, PA. He was born, December 13, 1927 in Mona, WV, a son of the late Warren H. Sickles and Birdie Chipps Sickles. He retired from the Morgantown Utility Board as a Water Treatment Supervisor in January, 1989. He was a member of the amateur trap shooting association and shot in several states. Jim also enjoyed ham radio and CB radios as well as hunting and fishing. He particularly enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Jacqueline "Jackie" Stapinsky Sickles, a son, James Michael "Mike" Sickles Gloria of Morgantown, a sister, Deloris "Beck" Sickles Keyser G. Robert of Hanover, VA, two grandchildren, Bryan M. Sickles, of Morgantown and Tyler J. Sickles Shawna , of Morgantown, and four great grandchildren, Hannah Sickles, Avery Sickles, Chadwick Sickles, and Chacelyn Sickles, all of Morgantown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Mae Sickles in 1981, a son, and daughter in law, John Warren Sickles in 2012 and Teresa Wanda Sickles in 2003, a grandson, Chad M. Sickles, and three brothers, Warren H. "Buzz" Sickles, George"Pete" Sickles, and John Doe Sickles. Friends may call Dering-Henson Funeral Home Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 3-7 p.m. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 12, 2014in the funeral home chapel with Fr.
