Judith Ann (Palmer) Price

Judith Ann Price, 86, of Morgantown passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 24, 2025. She was born in Preston County, the daughter of the late Austin and Sunda Palmer. Judith Ann was a 1957 graduate of St. Francis de Sales High School and a graduate of Morgantown Business School.

Judith Ann enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom and caring for her family. She liked to shop, watch her daily soap operas, and prepare and enjoy her favorite Italian foods.

Judith Ann is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ronald Lee Price. She is survived by her daughters Andrea (Roman) Chuby of Morgantown, and Ronda Lee (Ken) Opipery of Pittsburgh.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Hannah (Jason) Stalnaker, Roman Price Chuby, Ken Opipery III, and Mary Margaret Opipery. Included also are her great-grandchildren Jack, Hailey and Molly.  She is survived by sisters-in-law Twila Park, Carol Gibson, and brother-in-law Daniel Price. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Judith Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Vince(Cecilia) Palmer. Her deceased in-laws include Lewis and Opal Price, Ervel Lou Allen, Betty Ceberek, Diana Talbot, and Larry Price.

The family would like to express their appreciation for the exceptional care given to Judith by the staff at Wishing Well Assisted Living in Fairmont, WV.

The family has entrusted the arrangements to Dering-Henson Funeral Home. Friends and family will be received at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church,1 Guthrie Lane, Morgantown, WV on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 11am to noon. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon with Rev.Msgr. Anthony Cincinnati. Interment will follow in Masontown Cemetery.
