Naomi Inez Butler

Naomi Inez Butler, 96, of Morgantown, died Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Monongalia General Hospital. She was born March 27, 1918 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Roscoe and Lucy Clarkson. She graduated from Beechurst High School in 1936. Naomi was involved with many organization some of the m include, the United Methodist Woman at Jones United Methodist where she was a member and received recognition fir her continued support and service , Order of the Eastern Star, and a past board member of the Scott's Run Settlement House, where she successfully raised money and secured donations. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Allen Butler in 1995 a brother, Levy Clarkson and a sister, Ruth Maxine Dickerson. Naomi leaves behind several nieces and nephews and many good friends. Friends may call at Dering-Henson Funeral Home, Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 6-8 pm. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 5, 2014 at Jones United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles May officiating. Burial will follow in the East Oak Grove Cemetery.
