Neil Joseph Harris

Neil Joseph Harris, 77, of Masontown, WV, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at his home. He was born in Arcadia, WI, on September 13, 1948.

He was a Vietnam War veteran, serving in the US Army and a retired Real Estate Appraiser and a member of the Preston Lodge #90. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and family gatherings. He also loved spending time with his devoted and beloved dog, Ranger.

He is survived by his sisters, Barbara Perry (Dewey), Judith Nedrow (Rodney), Vicki Wason (David), and Patti Fournier; brothers, Roger Harris and Clayton Harris (Linda).

There will be no immediate services. Inurnment will be in the West Virginia National Cemetery, Pruntytown, WV. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff of Amedisys Hospice and H&L Homemaking for the compassionate and thoughtful care they showed to Neil.
