Rena Gutta Zaccagnini, 84, of Morgantown, died peacefully Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Monongalia General Hospital. She was born June 1, 1931 in Monongalia County, WV a daughter of the late Frank Gutta Sr. and Mary Angelo Romeo Gutta. Rena was the original founder of Zaccagnini's Suncrest Florist and co owner of Zaccagnini's Greenhouse, Landscaping, and Nursery along with her late husband, Joseph "Zack" Zaccagnini. She is survived by her sons and spouses, David and Doreen Zaccagnini, of Rogersville, PA and Michael and Cheryl Zaccagnini of Pleasant Hall, PA daughters and spouses, Deborah and Frank Matthews, of Morgantown and Rene'e and Rob Gatian, of Citrus Hills, FL. , six grandchildren, three great grandchildren one brother and spouse, Carmen and Marie Gutta, of Morgantown, and one sister, Edna Palumbo, of Morgantow, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Rena was preceded in death by a son, Joseph F. Joey Zaccagnini three brother, John Gutta, Frank Gutta Jr., and Paul Gutta and two sisters, Helen Belldina and Rosia Gutta. Friends will be received at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church Friday, July 17, 2015 from 2:30 pm. to 4:00 p.m. A celebration of life service will be at 4:00 p.m. at the church with Fr. John V. DiBacco as celebrant. Private burial will follow in the East Oak Grove Cemetery. Donations in Rena's memory may be made to the West Virginia University Children's Hospital, 1 Medical Center Dr., Morgantown, WV 26506 or Monongalia General Hospital, 1200 J.D. Visitation will be 2:30 - 4:00 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2015 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church.
