Samantha Blair Rossi-Furness

Samantha Blair Rossi-Furness, 27, of Morgantown, died Thursday, July 16, 2015 at home. She was born August 27, 1987 in Columbus, OH, a daughter of David Rossi and Danell Jenkinson Rossi. She was a 2006 graduate of University High School and attended West Virginia University where she studied Agriculture. In 2013, she received her CNA certification. She was smart, funny, witty and was a good friend and helped anyone she could. She also loved animals, sports, and the outdoors. She had many interests which included fishing, deer hunting, cooking, and photography. Above all she was a loving mother to her son. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Samuel Clayton Rossi-Trotto, a brother, David Aaron Rossi, and her grandfather Thomas David Rossi, Sr. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lydia Rossi, Earnest E. Jenkinson, Sr. and Bonnie B. Jenkinson. Friends may call at Dering-Henson Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, from 4-6 pm. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 6:00 pm.
