Timothy Wayne Bowers

Timothy Wayne Bowers, 69 of Canyon Community, Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at his home with his family by his side. He was born March 11, 1951 in Morgantown, a son of the late Robert W. Bowers and Wanita Saylor Bowers. Tim graduated from University High School in 1969 and worked for Verizon until his retirement. Following his retirement from Verizon, Tim stayed busy working various jobs including the Dominion Post and Gabriel Brothers. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and his friends, especially Jeff Remick and Dennis Piggot. He is survived by his wife, Karen Stone Bowers, a son, James Ware, a brother, Charles "Sonny" Bowers, grandchildren; Jacy Ruckle, Jilian Ruckle, Maranda Clever Guthrie, and James Ware III, great grandchild, Carson Lang and nieces, Leah Bowers and Wendy Zierer. He also considered Judy Clever Varano as his adopted daughter and Timothy Clever, Amanda Arbogast, and Johnny Arbogast as his adopted grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Amedisys Home Health Care , especially Jazz, Emily, Sarah, and Cindy.
